Our Favorite Things to Do in Austin
If you have time to kill this weekend, here are some of our favorite things to do and places to hang in Austin.
BREWERIES & DISTILLERIES
Jester King Brewery - A farmhouse brewery in hill country with great pizza and beautiful views.
Deep Eddy Distillery - A cute tasting room for sampling Deep Eddy's many flavors with food from food trucks
EATS
The Bonneville - Take a seat on the water and grab some American share plates and entrees plus top-notch cocktails. We came here the weekend we picked our venue!
Holy Roller - Decadent food, fun cocktails and a solid beer list complimented by a rockin playlist.
Torchy's Tacos - With several locations near downtown Austin, this taco chain is known as a "must" for visitors.
WATCH THE GAME
EUREKA! - This place has a bunch of big TVs and a great beer selection.
ONLY IN TEXAS
The Driskill Hotel - has a very "only in Texas bar" with long horns, leather seats and cowboy paintings galore. The hotel has a stunning stained glass ceiling in the lobby.
Texas State Capitol - Gorgeous building and a little pre-USA and post-USA Texas history
